Detroit Doesn't Need Your Permission
Rome Bethea takes a hard swipe at the predictable push back yet again on protesters in his city. Naysayers are disappointed that people are excising their rights to protests and acting like there isn’t sufficient justification.
Rome details a short list in a long line of police abuses: Rape of a woman who sought police help at the precinct, numerous killings of unarmed citizens, running down a teen on an ATV then fleeing the scene, tazing another child until he dies and so much more.
No one is asking for permission nor do they need to. The real question is why aren’t more people outraged at the actions of corrupt police?
